No — full-truckload pickups of recyclable Gaylord boxes are free across the U.S. We earn revenue downstream by recycling the corrugated content, so we cover the freight. For smaller loads we can quote consolidated freight or schedule a drop trailer.
Used Gaylord boxes piling up faster than you can bale them? Bulk Box Recycling will haul them away for free on full-truckload pickups across the U.S. We'll resell what we can and recycle the rest — keeping your boxes out of the landfill and your dock clear.
We work with warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturers, e-commerce fulfillment centers, and retailers to handle anything from a one-time clearout to a recurring weekly pickup program.
No charge for full-load pickups in the continental U.S.
Damaged, dirty, oversize — we take what others won't.
Continuous box generation? Park a trailer on your dock.
BOLs, weights, and diversion summaries for sustainability reporting.
Stop paying for hauling. Stop running a baler. Hit your sustainability goals at the same time.
Every load is graded on arrival. Boxes that meet structural and cleanliness standards get sold back into the supply chain as single-trip or reconditioned Gaylords. Damaged or contaminated boxes are baled and processed at certified corrugated recyclers, where the fiber is pulped and remanufactured into new corrugated.
Either path keeps your boxes out of the landfill. We can document the diversion rate for any pickup if you need it for sustainability reporting.
We work with manufacturers, distribution centers, e-commerce fulfillment operations, automotive plants, food and beverage processors, electronics assemblers, retailers, and 3PLs. If you receive raw material in Gaylord boxes or ship product out in them, we can help.

We still take them. Boxes that can't be resold get baled and recycled into new corrugated. We can't accept hazmat, food residue, or biohazardous material — but most warehouse contamination (dust, minor stains, broken corners) is fine.
Most loads are scheduled within 3 to 7 business days. Rush pickups (24–48 hours) are often possible — ask when you call. For ongoing volume, a drop trailer gives you 24/7 access on your dock.
Three reasons. (1) You skip the labor and equipment cost of operating a baler. (2) Many boxes are resaleable for higher value than baled OCC. (3) You get a single point of contact for sustainability reporting and ESG disclosures.
Yes. On request we provide BOL copies, weight tickets, and a diversion-from-landfill summary for each pickup. Helpful for sustainability disclosures, ISO 14001, and corporate ESG reporting.
